How to Change the Fathers Name in the Birth certificate in India Kindly help me?

Hi.. I lost my father at my age of 1 and my mother is remarried the problem is My Late fathers name is there in the fathers column of my birth certificate and in all my school certificates and other details it has been updated with my step fathers name and till now I have been addressed with my step fathers name as my sur name . only in the birth certificate alone my late fathers name is there. and the problem is now for applying passport as per my age birth certificate is mandatory ! and in all my other certificates my step father's name is Der so It has became a problem for me .. Kindly help me how to change the fathers name in the birth certificate. else is there any other procedure to apply pass port. and my DOB is After Jan-26-89 :( i think BC is Mandatory .. Am literally confused pls help me out ! I am urgently in the need of my passport..

check with the place were you get birth certificates,,as you might not be able to change it as this is not your real father,,

pl apply to a federal court for a declaratory judgement & order with affidavit and proof of father,s name and circumstnces. see below if u can:

You cant change the father's name in the birth certificate. He is ur natural father and will always remain so.The best procedure for you is to ask ur step-father to adopt you. The adoption papers will prove that u r his daughter and thus u share his surname. BC is mandatory as age proof.
