if only the shell its self was cracked, and the membrane wasnt (meaning nothing that should be inside is outside) there is a small chance it will hatch, but if she hasnt had many eggs before, she probably doesnt know what shes doing,if you dont have one,you need to get her a cuttle bone, those are important for her to regain calcium (she may eat the egg if she needs calcium, its not her fault, she needs it)

Remove the egg and throw it away...it will end up breaking further and sticking to her feathers.

I doubt it, now that the shell is cracked foreign objects such as bacteria can get in more easily and the chick will probably die. Next time just leave the egg in the cage, the mother knows what to do. Only if the egg is damaged should you even touch it.

Well it depends on weather she has mated yet. If she has then her eggs would be fertile. But no,that egg will not hatch even if she is fertile. If the egg even has a crack in it, it wont hatch cause air has gotten to the baby chick inside. If you want her to be fertile, put a roster of her breed or just any roster and they will then do there thing. And when she lays an egg you can deside weather u want her to hatch it or if u wanna hatch it your self.

If this is her first egg, she may not know exactly what to do with it. she will learn, so do not despair. I have finches and it took them 4 tries to get it right. Each time they reared the chicks to a different stage. the first clutch of eggs they broke up and tossed out. The second they sat on them until they hatched, then tossed the chicks out. the third, they raised the chicks until they got feathers, then stopped feeding them and they died. The fourth, they raised the birds till they fledged.. .
